
Name of Beneficiary: Esther Nabirye
Esther lives in Najjemba, Wakiso district, with her untie in a two-roomed house. Her auntie lives in the same house with three other children. The untie is a peasant farmer who makes money by doing modest tasks like digging in gardens around the community with Esther. Esther’s father died when she was just two years old, and her ailing mother lives in Eastern Uganda.
Esther dropped out of school in senior secondary three and she is currently pregnant. She wishes to become a professional hairdresser in order to look after her unborn baby as the man responsible for her pregnancy varnished when she was just two months pregnant. She also believes with her hairdressing skills; she will be able to support her ailing mother.
Esther is a very strong believer of Jesus Christ and she is confident that trusting in the Lord, all her dreams will come to live. She needs to US$1,200 / $100 a month to do her course in hair dressing. This would include the tuition fees, transport to the training venue and all the training materials required during her one-year training.
