Annet gave birth to a baby girl at just 19 years. She had no opportunity of enjoying her father’s love after losing him at the age of 10 year. Her mother had no single source of income, yet she had to look after 3 other Annet’s siblings.
Unfortunately, a friend to Annet’s late father who offered to sponsor her education, turned against her when she was 19 years and made her pregnant. The perpetrator was apprehended and prosecuted, and Annet’s studies came to an end when she was in Senior Secondary three. She currently lives with her auntie, an evangelist in Wakiso with many responsibilities. Annet was uncomfortable due to the limited space at her aunties’ home, so she sought assistance from La’ Marc Foundation, where she is currently housed.
Annet wants to take a tailoring class and start her own business so that she can help her baby and her three other siblings who are struggling financially.
